December is all Holiday!

We have been focusing on Christmas trees and Santa's this month, More holiday stuff 

to come but here is the first half of the month. It's amazing to see all of our interpretations 

of the same subject come out so differently! The toy Santa, the playful Santa, the drinking,
depressed Santa and old grandfather man Santa... pretty fun.

Thanksgiving Turkeys

This week's project was, fittingly, to draw a Turkey. Only two out of the four of us were celebrating (with Monika being a London-based Swede, and Lyndy based in Melbourne ) but all four of us enjoyed the project. We all agree that turkeys are kind of weird looking creatures...

Storm in a tea cup

This week we decided to draw cups. So...Put the kettle on, make a cuppa and catch that moment of calm when its you, your tea and the world.
I'm more of a coffee girl though.

Friday Drawing: Apple

Hello! My name is Lyndy, and I make up another "leaf" in the Cloverly Art Collective. I'm very excited to be part of this lovely group of artists. I'm looking forward to sharing some of my creative projects here and to exhibiting at Surtex next May.
I've recently been working on a couple of lovely projects - some nursery art prints for The Land of Nod, as well as some notecard designs for Papyrus. Both will be published in 2015 and I will be able to share them with you then.
In the meantime, I've come up with a new kitchen print!

I also recently undertook  Jesssica Swift's " Pattern Camp" course to hone up on my pattern making skills, and here are a couple of patterns I created  :

Cloverly |Art Collective
was formed in 2014 when artists  Jennifer Orkin Lewis,
Kristen Balouch,  Lyndy Hants and Monika Forsberg decided to create a Collective with the aim of bringing our work out into the world together.

The name Cloverly is a whimsical take on the lucky Four Leaf Clover, with each leaf representing one of our four award-winning artists. Between us we have a great breadth of experience across many industries from Textiles to Stationery, from providing large-scale murals to Children’s book Illustrations.

The four Cloverly Collective artists are based in London, New York and Melbourne, Australia.
